Student Initiative for Global Opportunities (SIGO) is a charitable non-profit organization established in 2010 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois by high school students to support the educational aspirations of fellow students globally. Education is the key to preparing a team of new world leaders. In many countries education is a fleeting dream for struggling youth. SIGO strives to provide awareness of the needs of students around the world and establish programs to provide support and services to help fellow students. SIGO partners with local non government organizations (NGOs) who share our vision of providing students greater opportunity for discovery and progress through education.
